Do you know the scorers for West Ham and how many penalties did Geoff Hurst score on Friday 14th March 1969, against Coventry. I was at the game and also the England game on the 12th March. I recall Geoff Hurst scoring 2 penalties in each game. He also completed his hatrick against France.

I have a Westham home programme dated Saturday 28th December 1968 for (supposedly) a Division One game against Arsenal but I can find no record of this game. The Arsenal 1968/69 game seems in fact to have been played on 21st April 1969, as far as I can determine.
Does anyone have any info on this December 1968 programme? Is it a misprint? I can find no record of a game on that date.
Any info would be appreciated.

I am keen to find out if it is possible for a West Ham player/manager from 1960/70/80′s is available to attend a 90th birthday function? It is scheduled for the afternoon or early evening of Saturday 8th May, 2010 and will be held at Belfairs Park, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. We are planning a surprise party for my father on this date. He has been a loyal supporter of West Ham all his life and I want to try and make it really special for him. I couldn’t think of anything better than to have a very special guest appearance by a VIP from the club!!
